Up to 2,500 hp per driveline (1,838 kW)

The MAN Smart HYBRID Experience draws on the entire engine portfolio of MAN Engines. As such, V12 (D2862), V8 (D2868) and in-line six-cylinder engines (D2676) ranging from 1,471 kW to 290 kW (2,000 hp to 394 hp) are available in the current series.

This, in turn, enables overall system outputs ranging from 474 kW to 1,838 kW (644 hp to 2,500 hp) for each driveline. Depending on how the components are assembled, the hybrid system can thus account for up to 56 percent of the vehicle’s overall power output.
